Auke Cornelis Sonnega (1910-1963) was a Dutch artist who worked in the former Dutch East Indies, Indonesia.
In the last few years we sold many paintings by Sonnega on our auctions. Family of the artist gave Sonnega's extensive archive to us on loan. This gives us the possibility to do a lot of research. The video below gives a small impression of the Sonnega Archive.
